1942	December	Local companies in iron industry gathered and founded Kohoku Kikai Co., Ltd. as a limited company at 710 Yawata-nakayama, Nagahama City. It started as a subcontract factory for Toyo Rayon (TORAY).
1948	January	Relocation of the Head Office to Mitsuyacho, Nagahama City.
1956	January	Company title changed to Kohoku Seiko Co., Ltd. (limited company).
1961	October	Company reorganization to a joint-stock company.
1970	May	Establishment of Kozawa Factory in Kozawacho, Nagahama City.
